Le Chalet Olivet

Built in 1862, this little Swiss chalet was first exhibited at the World Fair in Paris alongside the Eiffel Tower before being moved to its permanent home, on the banks of the Loiret river in a small French village called Olivet.
It was upon receiving this postcard, that the current owners' mother, a painter, decided to find the chalet and turn it into her artist's atelier.
15 years later, her family has restored it and opened its doors as a rental for others to enjoy this unique and enchanting jewel box of a house.
